Deportation & Expulsion — Legal Assistance

If you are facing deportation from Turkey, or if a deportation order has already been issued against you, you may have legal options — including an application to the European Court of Human Rights.

What I can help with

  • Challenging a deportation or expulsion order before Turkish administrative courts
  • Challenging entry bans and travel restrictions (tahdit kodları) before Turkish administrative courts
  • Challenging the cancellation of residence permits before Turkish administrative courts
  • Emergency applications to the ECtHR under Rule 39 (interim measures) to suspend a deportation pending review
  • Full applications to the ECtHR under Article 3 (prohibition of torture, non-refoulement), Article 8 (right to private and family life), and Article 1 of Protocol No. 7 (procedural safeguards for expulsion of aliens)
  • Advising foreign nationals, refugees, and stateless persons on their rights under Turkish and international law

When to act

Time limits are strict. An ECtHR application must generally be filed within four months of the final domestic decision. If deportation is imminent, a Rule 39 request for interim measures can be submitted urgently — but this requires immediate action.

If you have received a deportation order, do not wait.
